Hello! *waves*
I'm Raisca.
I like making things.
I can't NOT make things.
Getting immersed in the creative process is something that truly brings me joy!I do have a problem, though. I don't like to make the same thing over and over. As such, I've dabbled in many areas:Photography || Video editing || Drawing || Animation || Paper cutouts || Felt plushies || Collage || Crochet || Cross stitch || MusicAnd whatever new thing I see and get excited about trying!
If you'd like to support me and help me be able to live doing what I love, there's a couple of ways to do so:I have a Redbubble
where you can get prints
or stickers, or t-shirts, or many
other things with my designs on them.I also have a Ko-fi page where you can support me directly, with any amount you want, either just once or monthly.
It started with digital collages, during Februllage 2024.
The process took me on a journey and got me to a place I hadn't been in before.Inner Worlds is the exploration of the places that live in my imagination and that I'm still discovering.
The colors, the shapes,
the textures, the light! The whimsy, the silly,
the *vibe*!The beauty of the world
in my eye!
There's something magical about using your hands to create something,
give it shape and see it grow....Or maybe I just need to keep my hands busy in constructive ways, otherwise they grow restless and destroy whatever they touch.
When I like something, I *really* like it, be it a story, a character, a world...
It takes a hold of my mind, shapes my imagination and gains a permanent place in my heart.
So this one time, when I first got into Critical Role and the first campaign ended, I loved it so much I made a t-shirt for myself. Just cause.
(just cause I can't afford an official one,
let's be honest)
Also, I love Depeche Mode and love Dave Gahan's back tattoo. So, once upon a time, I painted it on a t-shirt. And then I also made a paper cutout with it, and put it on my wall.
Let me tell you about Tales of Vesperia. Cause oh boy, it had such an impact on me! I played it multiple times and know all the nooks and crannies of that world.
My nerd level with it is so high, I once focused on a set of special enemies, that you can find all over the world in specific places and only come out with specific weather in some cases. They drop a specific item to make a sword that you can't get any other way in the game.
(I'm really nerding out here, huh?)
So I made them with some felts!
I mean, they're super cute but I didn't have to go that deep. And yet, I did.
Cause I'm a nerd.
This other time, when I read a Tales of Symphonia fanfiction (this one here), I liked it so much I decided I wanted to turn it into a comic.
Then after drawing one page, I thought wouldn't it be cool to make it animated? So I experimented with a few animations.
And then, sadly (and because it would be a ridiculously long project) I fell off the wagon and hopped on another.
So, there's this webcomic I love dearly - the art is *so pretty* - called Clockwork (go read it!). I love it so much, I made a video for it.
I made a whole alphabet series!
The Alphabet of Mythical CreaturesI used coloring pages of the creatures, colored them with textures, used space images for the background, and tried to keep just a few themes with the environment (fruits, rocks/minerals, mushrooms and flowers). It was quite the challenge for me; about half way through I wanted to give up and move on to something else. But I held on to my stubbornness and kept going. And now I can add it here!
I certainly wouldn't if I hadn't finished it.
